Senior Product Designer

Create new submittal drawings, print packages, and revisions to existing files as directed by the Design Lead. Communicate with Bison's sales team to ensure the product meets the required specifications. Understand production capabilities to ensure the product can be produced efficiently. Assure all projects comply with Bison's ISO 9001 guidelines and processes.

• Produce accurate and complete drawings
• Deliver projects complete and on time
• Ability to check other drawings within the Engineering department
• Create accurate BOM for each new project
• Quick to identify critical information and respond appropriately
• Awareness of personal workload, prioritize and organize to ensure all deadlines are achieved
• Ensure Engineering Change procedures are implemented thoroughly
• Ability to comprehend programming process and functions for CNC turret punches and press brake equipment
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them
• Be self-motivated with a good work ethic and require minimal supervision
• Directly works under the Design Lead

Qualifications:

• Advanced/Proficient Sheet Metal knowledge in SolidWorks in the latest versions with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• AutoCAD 2D/3D drawing capabilities in the latest versions with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Amada programming software experience is a plus
• Strong technical drawing skills
• Proficiency with MS Office products
• Sheet Metal enclosure fabrication w/ minimum 2 years of experience
• Enterprise PDM Vault System a plus
• Mechanical design experience a plus
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Availability to work full-time Monday-Friday / 7:00 am-4:00 pm
• This is "NOT" a remote position. The work location is in Magnolia, Texas.
