Sr. Data Governance & Information Architect - Microsoft Purview & Fabric Governance Focus

In this critical role, you will act as the "Data Trust & Value Architect," ensuring that our enterprise clients' data is managed responsibly, securely, and in alignment with businessobjectives. You will be the expert on how Purview and Fabric work together. Over 17,000 organizations worldwide rely on SHI's concierge approach to help them solve what's next. **But the heartbeat of SHI is our employees - all 6,000 of them.** If you join our team, you'll enjoy: + Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S. + Continuous professional growth and leadership opportunities. + Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer peace of mind to you and your family. + World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive - in our offices or yours. **Responsibilities** + _Include but not limited to_ + Presales Engagement + Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements, goals, and pain points. + Design and present tailored solution solutions, addressing business and technical needs. + Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and assessments to evaluate current environments andidentifyopportunities for modernization. + Create comprehensive technical proposals, including solution architecture, implementation roadmaps, and cost estimates. + Lead the development of SOWs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client needs and businessobjectives. + Drive revenue growth within the professional services team byidentifyingnew opportunities andoptimizingservice offerings. + Microsoft Purview Expertise: + Design data governance frameworks and policies using Microsoft Purview. + Architect data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality solutions. + Manage data security and compliance requirements. + Microsoft Fabric Governance: + Design data governance strategies within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. + Utilize Fabric's data governance features to ensure data quality and security. + Understand and design security best practices within Microsoft Fabric. + Expertisein how Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric integrate. + Information Architecture: + Develop information architecture principles and best practices. + Design data models and data domain management strategies. + Ensure data is classified and managed appropriately. + Synergistic Collaboration: + Collaborate with the Data & AI Solutions Architect to define data governance requirements for data pipelines. + Work with the AI Architect to ensure AI/ML modelscomply withdata governance policies. + Help define data domains and information architecture that improves the performance of AI models. + Client Engagement: + Conduct client discovery sessions to understand their data governance and information architecture needs. + Develop and present compelling proposals and demonstrations thatshowcasethe value of Microsoft Purview and Fabric governance capabilities. + Act as a trusted advisor to clients on data governance best practices. **Qualifications** + Experience: + Minimum10+ years of experience in data governance and information architecture. + Deepexpertisein Microsoft Purview and data governance within the Microsoft ecosystem. + Experience with data modeling and data domain management. + Strong presales experience, with a focus on data governance and information architecture. + Education: + Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field;Master'sdegree preferred. **Required Skills** Technical Skills: + Expertisein Microsoft Purview (Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Governance). + Strong understanding of information architecture principles. + Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA). + Expertisein how Purview and Fabric integrate. + Soft Skills: + Excellent communication and presentation skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. + Strong client relationship management skills. **Certifications Required** + Microsoft Certifications: + Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) + Azure Data Analyst Associate (DA-100/DA-200) + Industry Certifications: + DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) + Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP) + Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) + Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) + Master Data Management (MDM) + Certified Data Governance Practitioner (CDGP) + Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) **Unique Requirements** + Travel to internal meetings as needed, up to 10% **Additional Information** + The estimated annual pay range for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
