The following position is to join RTX Corporate :

This role will be a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager that will lead and mature our Communications Career Development Program within the Global Communications function. This role focuses on creating and implementing a comprehensive learning and leadership development curriculum, tailored to enhance the skills and capabilities of our Communications professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, learning program development, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You Will Do

  • Design and create a robust learning and leadership development program and curriculum specifically for Communications professionals within the Global Communications function.
  • Develop a structured framework and design and implement tailored learning programs that focus on skills development, best practices, and continuous learning for the Communications team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify skill gaps and develop experiential plans to improve functional capabilities, including identifying development opportunities, including stretch assignments, intentional rotations, and shadowing experiences.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of development initiatives with business objectives.
  • Create engaging training materials, workshops, and resources to support employee growth and performance in the Communications field.
  • Evaluate the impact of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and metrics.
  • Adjust strategies as needed to drive continuous improvement and ensure the effectiveness of development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of experiential learning and professional development.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in communications and learning program development.
  • Incorporate innovative approaches and tools to keep the development program current and effective.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, learning and development, or a related area.
  • Prior experience in designing and implementing learning programs and development initiatives.
  • Prior experience delivering exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail, especially in a virtual environment.
  • Prior leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in communications and learning program development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret metrics and data.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Masters Degree in a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Certification in learning and development or related areas.
  • Knowledge of RTX Corporations business units and operations.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
