The following position is to join RTX Corporate :
This role will be a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to support our Communications Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic communications, project management, CORE and team leadership. This role is critical in supporting a best-in-class global Communications team.
What You Will Do
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Standard Work, processes, and operational plans for the function in support of communications strategies.
- Responsible to govern, guide, manage, and continuously improve functional resources, including the Comms Portal, Comms Resource Center, and the Comms Shared Calendar.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including senior executives, to identify process improvements and lead the implementation of solutions using the CORE common methods and tools. Implement the functional strategy.
- Ensure alignment with key stakeholders on various initiatives and incorporate feedback with overall functional goals and priorities in mind.
- Support the overall functions CORE journey, including development and management of Communications CORE resources, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Serve as a COE CORE focal and drive domain maturity of the Channel & Content COE.
- Develop relationships with subject matter experts from key RTX functions to ensure a holistic understanding of the potential impacts of new concepts, practices, and approaches, and execute effective change management plans as needed.
- Investigate problems extensively, discover pain points with existing processes, and use resources, knowledge, and influence to solve complex business challenges.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with corporate communications policies and industry regulations.
- Serve as the Ethics & Compliance Officer for the Communications Function.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Communications, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Prior experience developing and executing successful communication strategies in a corporate environment and the ability to adapt plans to dynamic shifts in scope, priorities, or new information.
- Prior experience delivering exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail, especially in a virtual environment.
- Prior leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret communication metrics and data.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Masters Degree
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Knowledge of RTX Corporations business units and operations.
