Responsibilities:
Develop creative ideas and concepts to suit the business objectives and serve as the design resource for all marketing communications
Apply brand guidelines, typography, photography and other elements to create integrated design assets for web, mobile devices & occasional print ads
Design and animate graphics for social media posts in Adobe After Effects or similar program.
Select in brand stock video footage and edit with custom graphics for posting on social media.
Maintains company brand standards while striving for optimal accuracy in project proofs
Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials; Maintain consistent visual voice across all requested materials
Works closely with all members of the Marketing team while prioritizing multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications, pre-determined timelines and budget restrictions
Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate
Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software like Adobe's Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image.
Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.
Edit, retouch and crop headshots from the raw files from the photographer
Qualifications:
7+ years executive-level administrative experience or related experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
BA in art, graphic design, marketing and other relevant fields
5 years of experience in graphic design, particularly in the financial services+
Have an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
Must be a creative and strategic thinker
Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
Solid understanding of design copy and web practices
Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, After Effects and other graphic design software
Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects including animated social media posts
Excellent eye for detail
